Malibu Beach In A Bottle

11:30

Being super fair skinned it can be quite daunting trying a new fake tan, will it be obviously patchy>, or will it make me unnaturally orange?, are questions that circle my brain as I wait for the tan to develop. Luckily I can confirm that neither of these happen with Madame LA LA tan! The brand is one that I've not heard of before now, but with a promise of a super quick drying formula with added coco water, aloe & green tea benefits that is said to give you a natural looking Malibu beach worthy tan I just had to give it a go!

The mousse is quite scary looking as you apply it, with a menacingly dark application colour, but luckily it blends super easy and drys almost instantly. You get a good golden glow after 2 to 3 hours, but have to wait 10 hours before showering, which is great if you use it before bed, but a little inconvenient if you're a daytime user like me. Regardless of the inconvenience, it's worth waiting for in my opinion! I didn't have a single streak, and the colour developed into such a nice tone on my skin, like a just home from holiday tan. At £30 a pop it's certainly not the cheapest on the market but I'd say it performs far better than anything I've used before including St Tropez and Fake Bake before! Plus it doesn't have that horrible fake tan smell that others seem to have, and instead has a gorgeous coconut fragrance that just sends your mind into holiday mode.

You can pick Madame LA LA from Superdrug in the Manchester Arndale centre or head to their home online to order.
