Paul Mitchell Extra-Body Range Review

After having my beloved ombré hair chopped off in preparation for operation wedding hair my locks have been feeling pretty sad. My hair has always been incredibly fine with virtually no body, but once it's longer it's a bit easier to manage day to day as there's more to play with and to add a fake voluminous look to. So with that said, I've been on the look out for something to give a bit of life and body to my flat hair. Paul Mitchell is one of my go to brands when it comes to haircare because I can't say I've ever had a bad experience with any of their products and they're cruelty free & vegan so that's a winner in my book!

The Extra Body range ticked all my boxes, promising to: "Gently cleanses and volumises fine to normal hair. Helps repair worn-down locks, boost body and maximise shine. Makes hair more manageable and easier to brush through". To start off, I really love the fragrance of both these products, I can only describe it as fresh salon scent but for a fraction of the price. I found the shampoo lathered nicely, left my hair feeling light, moisturised and not at all frizzy which is always a bonus! I added small waves to the ends of my hair with ghds and then applied a light spray through my hair in the morning before work, the photo you can see here was taken 11 hours later, so I genuinely couldn't be happier with the hold & results! You can pick up the whole range from Hairtrade where you can save a few pounds off the normal RRPs, they also have a great selection of beauty products and hair extensions too!
