Driving Home For Christmas

11:30

With Christmas only a couple of days away, I've created my own 'driving home for Christmas' in collaboration with Hertz car hire and Best British Bloggers, ready for my drive back home to see friends, pooches and family. You can listen to my playlist here if you have spotify, if you don't you can always make a free account!

My list is a mixture of the Christmas songs you'd expect, mixed with some you might not of heard before, and some of my all time non christmas songs which always make me excited. When creating my playlist the second song I thought of (after Driving Home For Christmas for obvious reasons) is the Fairytale Of New York, which is literally my favourite Christmas song of all time, I'd happily listen to this all year round if people didn't cry about it being bad luck. For me, you can't have Christmas without a bit of Bublé, so I added my favourite from his Christmas album, Santa Baby - yeah Santa, if you want to slip a Rolex under my tree I won't be complaining.

To jazz it up a little, I then added my two fave underrated Christmas songs, Destiny's Child 8 Days of Christmas, & The Darkness Christmas Time, can you remember how amazing these were? Beyonce - Countdown, probably wouldn't be on most peoples Christmas playlists, but whenever I hear it I instantly feel festive, probably because I played it constantly the last two Christmasses at home - sorry dad!

If you are driving home for Christmas this year, make sure you check your tyres are legal & safe to use, places like National.co.uk can do this for you if you don't know what you're looking for. I also recommend shopping around for tyres on a website like Tyre-Shopper to make sure you're getting the most bang for your buck before throwing all your christmas spends at your local shop.

What would you put on your Christmas playlist? What do you think of mine?
