Coveting Coats

With winter fast approaching, I'm in desperate need of a new coat. I manage to somehow get to October / November every year and realise that I just don't have a suitable coat for the weather, and I won't even get into how unsuitable my collection of dolly shoes are.. This year I've been desperately seeking something warm and new, I did fall in love with a quilted number on Joules, but at £100 I'm just not ready to take the plunge on something that might not see me through the whole winter period. However, I did manage to find the gorgeous New Look burgundy jacket above which is a very close match for a fraction of the price at only £45.

After a good browse I found a few pieces on there that I'd love to welcome into my wardrobe, their selection of Winter coats is really good this year. I'll be honest, I barely ever look in New Look any more but I think I've definitely been missing out. I'm particularly in love with the first and last coat, but can't decide which I like the most. Which would you go for? I love how simple the first is, and the furry hood looks lush for rainy slushy weather, but the last is different to anything I've seen anywhere else. Reminds me of something that you'd wear at a festival.

What do you think of New Look's Winter offering? Have you found any gorgeous coats I should know about?

  1. I love them all to be honest but the first is my favourite:-) I bought a new winter coat from H&M which didn't even have a hood but I was so in love that I caved in but now I'm on the look for another so I'm definitely going to be looking on New Look's site! Thanks for the recommendation:-)

  2. I love the shearling jacket from New Look, I've been eyeing up the black version for ages now but just can't quite bring myself to take the plunge. It looks like another winter in my trusty black parka is on the cards!

  3. I love the third one along! New Look are always pretty good for amazing coats!!

  4. I love the first two, they look so cosy!
