Graduation Dress Ideas - Pastels11:30
So here's my next instalment of my pick of this years dresses for graduation. This week I thought I'd focus on pastels, as they're a big trend this year, and let's be honest, we all like to feel super girly sometimes!
1 - Wrap Prom Dress. I absolutely love this prom dress from Topshop, the colour is actually what I wore to my prom a good few years ago now but I still think this is one of the prettiest pastel colours ever. The wrap detail gives a lovely V neck, that's perfect for a B to C cup, and would look lovely with a nice locket or something glitzy around your neck.
2 - Sequin Bodice Skater Dress. I absolutely love the cut on this dress, it looks really flattering on top, and because it's a skater it misses your hips and thighs if this is something your conscious of. This dress looks absolutely stunning on the model on Topshop, and it's also available in a super shimmery silver lace version too which is just as pretty.
3 - Yellow Daisy Collar Shift Dress. Personally I usually avoid shift style dresses as they don't suit my body type, but this dress is absolutely gorgeous and if you can pull it off you should definitely pick this up! The collar is beaded with daisies and is just perfect for Spring Summer. Plus if you are graduating this year, then imagine how nice the yellow would look against your robes - definitely stand out!
4 - Coral Mesh Prom Dress. Coral is a colour that looks great on most skin tones, so this a bit of a safe choice in here. The top section is detailed with mesh and embroidery, and it just looks like it's going to feel good quality and fit well.
5 - Pleat Front Texture Skater Dress. This dress is definitely my favourite from the 5! I love the silky look, and it's just got so many littles details like the textured material, pleated front, and also a crossover with open back. It's a skater dress without being too over the top at the bottom. At £39 I'd definitely be trying this on if I hadn't already bought my graduation dress!
Which is your favourite from my picks? What would you like to see next time? Brights, monochrome or something else?
