Deborah Milano Makeup11:46
We're all constantly on the look out for the next best thing, whether it's a handbag, phone or makeup, so when I saw that Deborah Milano were looking for beauty bloggers to try a couple of their items, I couldn't pass the opportunity up! Deborah Milano is considered a leader in Italy's cosmetics and skincare market, and are not hoping to cross the pond to the UK. I was given the chance to try out the Luminature Bronzing Powder, and an Eye Design Quad, both in a colour of my choice.
I found it quite difficult choosing a colour from the bronzing powders, as the swatches are very small, and don't give you a good idea of what the colour will look like. This resulted in me choosing quite an orange colour which looks a lot like foundation that is far too dark on my skin. I doubt I'll be using this compact, however the actually bronzer itself is extremely soft, easy to apply and build, so I think if I could find the right could for me this would be an ideal bronzer!
I never really go for quads, I usually buy eyeshadows in duos, or in bigger palettes which aren't suitable for taking out of the home. I love how handy this little compact is, containing all the colours you need to create a full look, but still small enough to fit in the smallest of make up bags. There's 9 to choose from, and I found it to be a very difficult choice as I would happily wear about 6/9. The back of the compact shows you wear to apply each colour, which is very handy if you're like me, and a bit lost when it comes to using more than two colours! The colours are quite sheer on the first stroke, but blend and build well, which is good because it can be a bit scary adding black and dark shades to your eyes! I'd definitely purchase these quads myself, and I already have my eye on colours 2, 3 and 6.
Have you heard of Deborah Milano before? Will you be looking at the range now?
