Will You Be My Valentine..

The lovely people over at Voucher Codes asked me to take part in their Most Wanted gift guide for Valentines day, and I couldn't say no to a little online window shopping! The perfect procrastination when you have a mountain of uni work to do. In all honesty, me and the boyfriend don't really celebrate Valentines day as our anniversary in only 6 days before, so we usually combine both days into our Anniversary, but we do still do something lovely and get gifts too.

I think it's really difficult buying "for him", especially at Valentines, as I'm not really into the whole tacky present just for the sake of it, because I just don't think something with hearts plastered all over it is really for a guy. Saying that, the under £10 gift for him is a novelty stress toy, after all putting up with our wardrobe woes, and girly gossip can't be fun all of the time, haha! A good safe but lovely gift is a bottle of his favourite fragrance, I know I can't go far wrong with Boss Bottled, but it's probably best to do a bit of snooping around his bathroom cabinet. Finally, I found this gorgeous Ted Baker wallet and cardholder gift set, it's incredibly classy and I can't imagine there's many people who wouldn't like it!

I'd be lying if I said I didn't want everything on the "for her" list, everything is so pretty. I've had my eye on the bunny ring holder for a while now, and it's such a lovely gift for only £10. Plus the two bunnies are so snuggly together so it's a very cute Valentiney gift. Everyone loves Boo, don't they? I think he makes a great alternative from the normal teddy bear that we all have a million or more of. Plus if you wanted to spend a bit more, you could always buy the book to go with him too! Wherever you look on the blogosphere, it's hard to miss Neom candles, so I think most girls would know how luxurious this gift is. Personally I'd be so happy if the boyfriend bought me a Neom candle, hint hint..

When it comes to anniversary/Valentines, the boyfriend and I usually buy joint gifts that we can share, like some nice treats from Hotel Chocolat, or a bottle of something different to drink. I think Joe & Seph's Gourmet Popcorn sound amazing, there's so many strange flavours like Caramel & Peanut Butter, Goats Cheese & Black Pepper and Caramel Macchiato & Whisky. They're only £5.99, and I think a couple of bags would make the perfect accompaniment to a cozy night in watching films. If you have a budget of up to £30 then how about the Rob Ryan His & Hers matching cups? I love the thought of having a coffee date in your own kitchen together with these cups. Plus they come in a gorgeous box which you can keep forever too. Finally, the last thing on my gift guide is the 22 Carat Vodka, which comes in a diamond shape bottle, and it's pink in colour with edible real gold. I think this gift is definitely different to what most people will receive on Valentines Day, but I think it's an amazing idea and I'm considering buying this to try.

Do you have any brilliant Valentines gift ideas? What do you think of the items on my list?
