Saviour By Name, Saviour By Nature

I know exactly why Antipodes decided to call this product "Saviour Skin Balm", it does exactly what it say on the tin, literally! It's a balm that can be used for pretty much anything, chapped lips, sore muscles, stretch marks, conditioning cuticles, dry skin and so many more problems. I'm a big fan of skin balms, I've loved them since falling in love with the Figs and Rouge balms which have seen me through many a cold!

Compared to the Figs & Rouge balms, the Antipodes balm does seem expensive, but it's huge in comparison, I couldn't believe the size of it when it popped through my door. The balm itself is quite thin when applying, but a little goes a long way and it means that it rubs into your skin/lips easily too. It has a soft scent of tea tree which is really pleasant. It's said to contain "Nature's richest oils blend with the power-packed antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial healing properties of Australian tea tree and New Zealand totara".

The packaging of the balm is really cute, and it's sneaked it's way into my bag so that I always have it when I need it. I really couldn't recommend this balm more, especially if you have sensitive skin as it's non irritant. My balm is from Lucy Rose who currently have this on a special offer where you receive a free Antipodes Joyful Hand & Body Cream worth £27.99 when you buy any 2 or more Antipodes products (excluding the lip balms). Lucy Rose is an online organic beauty boutique with amazing offers and a great loyalty club scheme too.

Is this the sort of product that you would buy? Have you tried anything from Antipodes before?

  4. Stretch marks? Sounds like a dream balm I need to try. I've been through everything since having my daughter and although they're fading it's not fast enough (I'm a single mother & I just don't feel confident enough to date because of them!)

    Great review :)
