Naked Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner

14:02

I've posted about Naked a couple of times before, here and here, it's a brand that I'm a really big fan of. Basically they're a very budget friendly beauty range that's natural, don't test on animals, and even package their products in recycled bottles! They sell everything from shampoos and conditioners, to eye gels and cleaners.

Naked Shine Hydrating Shampoo & Conditioner is made for normal to dry hair, which is probably my hair type. I always go for products made for dry hair, but I don't think it's actually as dry as I pretend to myself it is. The first thing I noticed when using these products, is that they're fragranced differently, which is unusual for a set of shampoo and conditioner, but actually I think it's really nice! The shampoo is Honey & Mallow, so as you can imagine it's quite sweet, although I wouldn't say it's sickly at all. It lathers really nicely, and left my hair feeling light and clean. The conditioner is Buttermilk & Green Tea, which is my favourite of the two scents, I just love Green Tea smells!

Both have left my hair feeling luscious, light and fuller. For the price I couldn't recommend these any more, and I definitely want to try some of the other shampoos and conditioners from Naked. The volume range and renew range are definitely calling my name! You can get the shampoo and conditioner I have with a "extra shiny finishing serum" for just £9 in a bundle online if anyone wants to give it a go!

Have you tried anything from Naked before? Will you be trying the products I've reviewed?

  1. This sounds lovely, I'll have to look out for these in store as Boots sent me a 10% off voucher too :)
I have only tried their heat protection spray which smelled almost like banana and was lovely, yet made my hair feel a bit lank and greasy :( xx

  2. Naked may contain some naturally derived ingredients but it contains questionable preservatives (for instance Sodium hydroxymethylglycinate) and parfum

  5. Oooo the shampoo smell sounds right up my street! Love sweet smells, green tea is actually good for hair growth so if the conditioner contains real green tea it could help with it :) xxx

  6. Really want to love Naked, have tried a silky smooth-type shampoo and am using their volume one at the mo but neither have the wow factor. Maybe this one would be better :)

  10. I'm pretty choosy about my hair products because I have thick, curly hair that tends to get frizzy and dry. I received a travel sized sample of the Shielo Hydrate Shampoo, and was pleasantly surprised when I used it. It smells nice and left my hair soft . . . . my hair is more manageable as a result
