Osis Flatliner

When it comes to styling my hair I always use some form of heat protection, it really does make a difference to the condition of your hair in my opinion. I've just finished my bottle of Schwarzkopf Supersoft, and although it did a good job of protecting my hair I wouldn't say it was anything to live by. I discovered osis products on Hairtrade who have a huge range of hair products and amazing extensions, and I loved the design and packaging of the range so I thought I'd give it a go. I'm definitely someone who cares a lot about the product inside, but as a graphic designer it's hard not to be swayed by something pretty looking!

Osis flatliner is sprayed onto dry hair before straightening to help combat frizz and keep your hair straight. Upon application it smells so good, I don't think it has a particular fragrance, it just smells like a high end hair product which I love. I've been using this product for almost a week now, and I'm really impressed by how sleek my hair has remained, even after sitting though two humid kitchens during Christmas dinners being cooked! It says it has strong control, with a 3 out of 4 rating, I definitely agree with this in terms of the fact that my hair hasn't gone wavy or frizzy,  however I wouldn't say it really helps hold volume in the same way as a hair spray would. Despite being for straighteners I have tried this with my totem styler too, and it gave me really sleek curls but they did drop within the hour unfortunately.

The nozzle dispenses the spray evenly, and doesn't leak down your hand like some spray bottles do. Also underneath the nozzle is a stopper that can be opened and closed to stop the serum spraying, so it's great for traveling with. It's priced just over £11 although you can get it for £8.69 on Hairtrade. I'd give this product a 9/10 and would definitely purchase this product once it's empty, and I think I'll look into trying different products from the osis range.

Have you tried this product before? What are your thoughts on the osis range?
