I Can See Clearly Now

Angela Langford is a brand that I hadn't heard of until being given a lovely Eye Make-Up remover at the Leeds Blogger Meet. I was happy to find this in my goody bag because my current eye make-up remover was nearly empty, so I was going to buy a new one anyway.

My only problem with this product is the price, this 50ml bottle retails at £11.75, and the eye make up remover I currently use (No7) costs £8.50 for a bottle twice the size. However having said that, all Angela Langford products are handmade in small batches, using 100% natural ingredients (organic where possible). Also this range isn't tested on animals! This product in particular is made using 100% natural products, with 98% of these being organic. If this is something that matters to you then I definitely recommend giving this brand a look - you can grab a free sample pack tailored to you on the website, and all you need to do is pay postage costs.

Does it work? Yes, I'm very happy with the product, but I wouldn't say it works any better/worse than my current remover, maybe if I'd of been using a cheap one previously then I'd notice a difference but I can't say I have. I am impressed with the branding and packaging of AL products, and one pump of this is more than enough to remove your makeup.

Is natural products something you prefer to spend a bit extra on? Have you tried any AL products before?

  1. I haven't tried this brand before. Quite frankly, I don't feel the need to spend so much on make up removers, mine costs £1.50 from boots and does the job. Great review though. :)

    1. Once I've used this up I'll be going for something similar. The only reason I had an expensive one is because it's something my Nan got as part as a No7 offer :) xx

  2. I've just ordered a little sample pack, excited for it to arrive!
I don't wear make up really, so I won't have a lot of use for the make up remover if I get that, but sure my mum or sister would appreciate it!

I'm always very aware of ingredients in the products I use, and the animal testing aspect... I use Lush products 90% of the time, but they haven't found their way into my skincare routine, except for an exfoliator... But I like using natural products, and I think they smell nicer for it too!!
