Huddersfield Food Festival

11:47

Huddersfield Food Festival is one of the highlights of my year, there's always so much yummy food and drink to taste and buy! We spent Friday prevening (Sheldon Cooper would be proud of that terminology) at the festival, trying some tasty ales, chinese rice beer, flavoured vodkas (there was a super tasty butterscotch one), cheeses, jams, sausages and pies.

We ended up buying some extremely tasty pork and blue cheese sausages, full english sausages (which had tomatoes, beans, black pudding etc inside!), some amazing award winning pork pies, and a variety of chilli jams from the chilli jam man, you can find them here, and seriously they are worth a buy! Also, you can buy some similar sausages from flavrbox if anyone wanted to try them too :)

Do you enjoy going to food festivals? Are you a big foodie lover?

  3. I love a good food festival! I went to the Good Food Show in Birmingham with uni in my first year, and it was heaven! Manchester (where I live) do a pretty good food festival too. If I'm ever in Huddersfield around this time of year or Christmas, I'll have to pootle down (:

  4. I really wanted to go to the food festival but I was working every day it was on. I go to quite a lot of them in the Yorkshire area so am quite familiar with all of the food stalls there. I'm a regular customer of the chilli jam man, his carrot and ginger chutney is absolutely out of this world.
