Batiste Dry Shampoo

11:26

Batiste is one of my all time favourite beauty products, perfect for a quick fix and they always smell so gorgeous. Plus with the variety available there is one to suit everyone. I've never really strayed away from batiste tropical, as it's a beautiful coconut fragrance which I'm a huge fan of, (is it just me or do coconut and hair products go hand in hand?) so I was extremely grateful to receive a few different batiste bottles to review!

Batiste XXL is a product I'm sure you've all heard bloggers rave about before, and I don't know why it's taken me so long to get round to trying it. This can packs some serious boost, and definitely helped to lift my fine limp hair, and is most definitely the best volumising product I've used to date. This does however make your hair feel a bit stiff around the roots, but that's just so it can hold them up!

Cherry batiste is a gentle fruity cherry scent, which I don't think is quite as strong as the tropical version. It comes in a super cute kitsch cherry print can which deserves to be displayed on your dressing table. The only issue I had with this is that it seemed more powdery then versions I've used before which was quite white in my dark hair.

Finally, the dark batiste is probably my favourite yet. The hint of colour in the powder means it blends into my hair so much more, which means if you don't quite manage to rub all of the powder in then you won't be caught out with grey roots! I recommend this product to anyone with dark hair! It also comes with a beautiful fragrance too so it's not all about practicality!

You can purchase Batiste from boots, superdrug and most supermarkets too, and you can view the full range here. What is your favourite Batiste? Have you tried these ones?

Ps. Just bought myself a cheeky little domain ;)

  4. I love Batiste dry shampoo!
With my dark hair I usually always get the dark one, but recently it was run out so I bought the Tropical one. It smells lovely but makes my hair look grey, so I'm gonna stick to my dark one for now :)

  11. So much love for Batiste, the dark one has saved me from the dreaded grey roots issue since I started dying my hair! I've tried loads of other brands and they're never as good xxx

  12. I'm not a big fan of Bastie dry shampoos, as they leave my hair very powdery. I prefer Tresemme Dry shampoo. I would love to try out the Cherry Bastie as I guess it will smell amazing, but if it leaves the hair very powdery as you said, I'm not planning to try it, unless they have smaller size ;) x

    1. They do smaller travel sizes which I think you can get in all varieties, but I'm not 100% sure! :) I've not tried Tresemme dry shampoo but I'll look out for it :) x

  13. I like the smell of the Cherry Batiste but I find it leaves a residue on my scalp, which isn't too nice! So I try and avoid my scalp as much as I can when spraying and then brush my roots... it seems to work better. I've not tried the XXL Volume one - although I have thick hair, I often need a volume boost, so may give that a try. I love the brunette version though.
