She Said Beauty July

11:00

I don't understand the whole rush to be the first person to post about a new beauty box, personally I'd much prefer to read a review of how the products actually work, so with this in mind I decided to wait a week before posting my July She Said Beauty box. Plus at the end of the day, you can 'sneak peek' this box on the SSB website before anyone gets their box anyway! Apologies in advance for the super long post!

I'm extremely happy with the July box, and unlike the last box I'll be using all products in this one. I was particularly happy to see that 4 out of my 5 items were full size products.

The first product I tried was the Ice Crystals Anti-aging Prep & Polish, although it looked like quite a small sample (1.2ml) there was plenty to use and give a full coverage. This product smelt gorgeous, and left my skin feeling extremely fresh, literally as fresh as an extra strong mint leaves your breath, but for the face? Ha, I hope that makes sense! The only gripe I had with this exfoliate was that it was extremely fine, and felt a bit like glass on your face, so had to be massaged gently, but as they say, no pain, no gain!

I'm an uber Apprentice nerd so I was very happy to receive the Stylefile S File by inventor Tom. This file is extremely easy and comfortable to use. I usually end up buying cheapy rubbish nail files because they have something cute/tacky like Hello Kitty on, but you can definitely notice a difference in quality. Plus it has a side for polishing and a side for filing, which makes it a winner in my eyes.

The Vintage Eyelash Curler works really well, although I wouldn't say it's any better than the curler I'm currently using, but it's nice to be able to replace my old superdrug one, as it's seen better days! The curler also comes with spare pads giving it a longer lifespan.

The only product that I haven't tried yet is the Time Release Acne Cleanser, simply because I've never really suffered from acne, and I'm not really worried about ageing products right now, but I will be using this when my current cleanser is empty, because it smells really refreshing.

Finally the Miners Cosmetics blusher and bronzer blend is something that I'd hoped to receive in my box. You can use the blush and bronzer separately or pair them together. This mix really complements my complexion and is something that will probably sneak it's way into my daily routine, however it is a little bit shimmery!
