Coconut & Sweet Almond Intensive Conditioner

11:30

I'm having a bit of a hair crisis at the moment, I'm trying to grow it, but the ends are becoming really dry so ideally I need it cutting, but as it's currently in an angled crop I'd need to get quite a bit cut from the front to even it out! :(

In search of a temporary solution I came across Superdrugs Coconut & Sweet Almond Intensive Conditioner, unfortunately I don't know the price as a certain boy who shall not be named shredded my receipt. I do however know that it's on a bargain offer of 2 for £1.49, and the tub is £3.75. You can mix and match the offer with their normal conditioner and shampoo too, but I decided just to go for two tubs of the intensive as I prefer to use more expensive shampoos personally.

You use this product root to tip, for 3 to 5 minutes depending on desired treatment, and personally it leaves my hair feeling amazing! It helps to soften the ends, it makes my hair virtually knot free, and the scent is gorgeous! Even after using other products of my hair when styling you can still smell the beautiful coconut and almond fragrance, which is a winner in my book! As it's almond too it means that the coconut smell isn't too overpowering and sweet. The conditioner has also filled my hair with life, making it much more bouncy and voluminous.

So far I've used the conditioner twice, and both times have used a considerably small amount, although I do have short hair. I wouldn't say it's an every day use, simply because who has the time to leave a 5 minute conditioner on every day? I can imagine that one tub will last me around 2 months, maybe a bit longer, so for the price, I definitely think it's worth it!

Will you be trying this range?
Ps. I always get a lot of comments on my hair during posts, I use the Babyliss big hair to dry my hair, would you be interested in a review on this?

  1. Oh this post is really useful, thank you -my hair has been getting more and more dry recently due to the chlorine in the swimming pool and I've been looking for something which may help it, so I'll definitely give this a go.

  2. A few years ago when I stripped my hair it was in such poor condition that it was pretty much straw. I used Lush's 'American Cream', it's not an intensive hair treatment, just a normal conditioner but I left it on for 5 mins and it made my hair so smooth and it smells like vanilla and milkshakes which lasts for HOURS. It's more expensive than your Superdrug find but I swear by it now and you can use it every day as a normal conditioner - everyone's a winner!

And yes to the big hair review. Or any review for giving hair a bit of oomph. I'm yet to find a product that works :[
