Back To Black

11:00

Top: George. Blazer: Ebay (old). Dress (worn as skirt): Missguided. Nails: Models Own Grace Green.

I know you've only just seen this top, sorry, but I threw this outfit together last week to wear to the Grad Show for my course at uni, and I instantly fell in love! I like to wear this dress and blazer together but sometimes I feel I'm wearing a bit too much black, so this top really broke it up a bit. I should of taken photos with the blazer off too, that was a bit of a rookie mistake as you can't tell exactly what's going on, but I'll get better I promise! I folded the top up to make it look cropped, and then secured it in place with a belt.

The dress is a gorgeous skater dress I bought from Missguided, which you can see fully here. It's both ribbed and pleated which I think makes it look so much more than just a plain black dress. I love the way you can style this dress however you want, wear it with heels and jewellery for a night out, or dress it down with tights and brogues for day wear!

  1. Oh this outfit is ever so classy and chic! Can't believe the top is from George! What a bargain. It gives the outfit a really lovely texture. Maybe next time you can take the pictures without the blazer on! And your have really really nice hair.
